The "investment club" consists of only the top student from each of the 6 grades. Their annual goal is to yield a profit of 8% from a capital of 300-billion yen. As the top student of his grade, Zaizen Takashi is forced to join the investment club over playing on the baseball team. His first task at hand in the club is to invest 10-billion yen.

Zaizen attempts to purchase 3-billion yen worth of "Game Crazy," but is stopped by the vice-captain Watanabe. Watanabe then orders Tsukihama to teach Zaizen how to invest. Zaizen repeats that "inveestment is not about study," but is advised to come up with a stategy by Kamishiro.
