Iris

Iris often disagrees with others and constantly challenges consensus, making her increasingly difficult for those around her. She promises her boyfriend Claude she will be "very normal" at a dinner at her brother's house. But after a meeting with an editor about her first book, she has other things on her mind… and arrives at the dinner having completely forgotten her promise.

Seeking inspiration, Iris goes to write alone at her editor Catherine's countryside house. Not quite alone, as Tom, Catherine's husband, is also there. Iris leaves feeling calm, but trouble quickly returns: a child accuses her of theft, a birthday party turns into an olfactory disaster, and Claude drifts further away.

Catherine invites Iris to the 100th anniversary of Théophile Publishing. If she wants her book released properly, Iris must impress the company's director. But with an outrageous dress, outdated hairstyle, and awkward jokes, she overdoes everything. And slipping away unnoticed becomes impossible when she ends up completely naked in the bathroom.
