    Cop Shot Don Mauldin, a 19-year law-enforcement veteran, was out to investigate a domestic disturbance when he was shot point blank in the head. Earlier that day, Don made a last minute phone call to his wife, Maggie. He had a premonition that something terrible was going to happen, and asked her to pray for him. Maggie soon discovered DonÍs premonition would come true. She was taken to the hospital by one of DonÍs law enforcement friends and there officers from all over the State prayed for DonÍs recovery. Doctors told Maggie and DonÍs friends that he wouldnÍt make it and it was just a matter of time. They had already turned the life support machines off when Don miraculously awoke from his coma. Girls Survive Big Wave Three young girls are drawn to the big surf conditions in Newport Beach, California. Believing they were in a ñsafe areaî at the very edge of the water, they are swept away by a huge wave. Not knowing how to swim, the situation looks hopeless. A local man leaps into action and into the crashing surf to help rescue the drowning girls. While watching this, the girlÍs mother suffers a heart attack. Lifeguards now must rush to save both the girls and their mother. Aussie Capsized A distress call off the east coast of Australia puts members of the Coast Guard on alertƒand in dangerƒas they battle 50-foot swells to save the captain of a small sailboat, his wife and their small child, after their craft rolls over 360 degrees. Three television news helicopters are on the scene when the Coast Guard vessel is flipped over the by huge wave causing its crew to be tossed into the angry sea and making them victims themselves. It is now up to the untrained news crew to make a miraculous rescue while capturing the terrifying moments on film. Deserted Baby Success In 1982, a drug-addicted baby of African-American heritage was found abandoned outside a Los Angeles hospital. The baby is adopted by a couple who had already adopted and raised three children of mixed race as well as three of their own. Doctors warned the couple that the child would be a slow learner. Proving them all wrong, the boy finished high school with a 3.97 grade point average and is named his classÍ valedictorian. Dog Saves Boy A dog that is saved from being put to sleep repays the kindness by rescuing his new masterÍs 17-month-old son after the toddler falls into the lake.

    102: Town Menorah; Kidney Connection; God Was My Co-Pilot; Mountain Vision; On-Ramp Romance

    Town Menorah A family of Russian-Jewish immigrants is awakened at 4:30AM by the sound of breaking glass. To their horror, they discover their living room window is shattered and the electric menorah that was displayed in the window is now smashed. News travels quickly through the neighborhood. By nightfall, despite the scarcity of menorahs in local stores, two of the women on the block have borrowed and collected as many electric menorahs as they can find so everyone on the block will have a menorah to display that night. When the Jewish family came home that evening, they are greeted by a sea of orange lights, lit on their behalf in the windows of neighbors, many of whom are not Jewish themselves. Kidney Connection 42-year-old Rick is still not sure what drove him to continually go to the Hermosa Beach pier at all hours of the day and night. Frank, 58-years-old, is glad he did. Frank needed a kidney transplant and frequently fished at the southern California pier. Within days of the two strangers accidentally bumping into each other, Rick offered Frank one of his kidneys. Today, the two men still wonder about the powerful and mysterious forces that guided them together. God was my Co-Pilot An experienced pilot attempting to snag a banner with his single engine plane went into an accelerated stall and crashed. Right before impact, he saw two people on the ground and heard a voice in his headset tell him, ñJohn, everything is going to be all right.î The plane burst into flames. The Pilot says an Angel held the fire back from the auxiliary fuel tank and Jesus breathed pure oxygen into him until he could be pulled out. Mountain Vision A 63-year-old lady, out camping with her husband, goes out on her own for a hike and gets lost. Try as she may, she canÍt find the trail back and must now face the cold conditions alone and with no food or water. A three-day massive search utilizing dozens of people on horseback, with dogs and helicopters are unsuccessful in locating her. But one lone cowboy hears a message that sends him on a mission to find her. He doesnÍt know her, he doesnÍt even know sheÍs missingƒBut miraculously, he knows exactly where she is. On-Ramp Romance A man is down on his luck. He is coming out of a second failed marriage and just completed alcohol rehab. With two young sons to care for, he rifles through old photos at his motherÍs home and comes across one of his high school sweetheart. It had been 14 years since they dated. He tells his mother he should have married her. He gets out the phonebook and tries to find her without success. They next day, who should pull up to him on the on-ramp of the 405 but his first love, the high school sweetheart he had searched for only the day before! The flame is rekindled and the two are engaged 9 months later.

    HeavenÍs Matchmaker Meghan loved fixing people up. On a church ski trip, Meghan fell and hit her head and was declared brain dead by her doctors. Her parents rose above their grief and agreed to donate her organs. Miraculously, two of the recipients of her organs met, fell in love and plan to marry! Norman the Dog Angel Fifteen-year-old Lisa Nibley was swimming in the river with her twelve-year-old brother, Joey, when they were caught in an undertow. Joey managed to swim back to shore, but Lisa was not lucky. She began screaming, but before anyone could notice, Norman, a blind Labrador retriever, jumped in and rescued her. Elk Angels While hunting in the woods, 16-year-old Ryan Potton was separated from his father and a friend of his. A storm was coming and he was wearing only a thin shirt and jeans when he got lost. Search and rescue teams were unable to find Ryan before darkness fell. Soon, the temperature plummeted and the sleet turned to snow. Miraculously, Ryan was found alive the next morning without any signs of frostbite. In the middle of the night, wild elk had lain down around Ryan, heating him with their bodies and protecting him from the freezing weather. Heaven Sent One night, Kris dreamt of a woman, and the woman told her to write a classified ad and to place it within a particular personal ad service. Three nights later, Kris again dreamed of the same woman. This time the woman simply told her to ñrespond only to the type written letter.î Some time later, a large envelope with 65 response letters arrived and of them, only one was typed, by a man named Jim. Kris called Jim and the two fell in love. One night, Kris and Jim were looking through JimÍs photo album when Kris saw a photo of the woman from her dream. As his eyes filled with tears, Jim explained that it was a photo of his late wife, who had died of cancer several years ago. It was his late wife, who had found him happiness in life again. Plane Miracle Donna Weber awoke one night startled by a dream she had involving her son, Scott. Sensing her son was in danger, she began to pray. Soon, she received a phone call telling her Scoot had been involved in an accident. Scott and his friend, Gary, were on their way home from a moose hunting trip when their plane crashed and burst into flames. Gary was able to escape, but ScottÍs seat belt jammed, trapping him inside. Ready to give up all hope, an un-Earthly force pulled Scott from the plane at the last moment, saving his life.

    104: Tornado Miracle; Angels Save Boy; Grand Canyon Angel; Semi Truck Dream; Clemente Tragedy

    Tornado Miracle In the twenty odd years Jan Neve and her family have lived in Hendersonville, Tennessee, weather was never much of a concern. One the morning of May 18th, it should have been. Jan was at work at HavertyÍs Furniture store, when a violent tornado below through, taking the whole right side of the store with it. During the commotion the door Jan had been holding onto slammed shut on her hand, almost severing it from her arm. She knew she needed immediate help or she would bleed to death. Jan ran outside and once she saw the devastation she knew that her chances of getting medical aid would be slim. Then all of a sudden, an ñAngelî arrived. Robert Morgan drove up behind her in his truck and took her to the nearest hospital. During their journey, a series of additional miraculous events would take place that would ultimately save JanÍs life. Angels Save Boy Ryan Heer came down with chicken pox, what is usually a common childhood illness. That is until a red spot behind RyanÍs ear began to swell. DoctorÍs immediately had Ryan admitted to the hospital where it was determined that a deadly Streptococcus-A infection was threatening his life. His mother prayed for angels to protect him. Miraculously, Ryan would go on to recover and would later describe have being visited by angels during his time of grave sickness. Grand Canyon Angel After coming too close to the edge of the Grand Canyon and falling to what was sure to be her death, a 13-year-old girl is mysteriously and miraculously returned to the top unharmed. Semi Truck Dream One day, songwriter Becky Hobbs began receiving premonitions that she would be in a vehicle accident. Soon, a warning voice from the unknown began to accompany the premonitions. Together, these prevented Becky from what would have been a fatal accident involving a semi-truck. Since her experiencing her personal miracle, Becky Hobbs has written the song, ñAngels Among Usî. Clemente Tragedy Growing up together in Puerto Rico, Robert Clemente, Jr. and his childhood sweetheart, Elsa, were inseparable. One day, Robert received a call that Elsa was to leave the island and would not be allowed to contact him ever again. Roberto was devastated. What he didnÍt know, was that Elsa and her family had entered into the Witness Protection Program after bearing witness to a murder. On her death bed sixteen years later, ElsaÍs mother told her daughter to find Roberto and marry him. Through a series of miraculous events, her motherÍs dying wish came true.

    Baby Comes to Life An Indiana coupleÍs most joyful experience turns suddenly tragic when their son is born without any signs of life. Despite the best resuscitation efforts of the obstetrics team and emergency room doctors, Logan Carroll is declared dead 35 minutes after he came into this world. The baby is cleaned and baptized, then placed into the arms of his distraught parents and grieving relatives before he was to be taken in for an autopsy. While being held by his grandmother, Logan miraculously comes back to life after showing no signs of life for the past 78 minutes. Doctors and everyone else are stunned. Medical personnel have no explanation for what they have witnessed other than to attribute it to GodÍs work. Today, Logan is three years old. Although he suffers from epilepsy and mild cerebral palsy, he is a living miracle. Burning from Within A woman dreams that she will be in a plane crashƒand soon her unfortunate dream comes true, leaving her clinically dead with burns over 75% of her body. During her near-death experience, she is visited by her late grandmother and her unborn son. Both spirits urge her to return to the real world and face her biggest fearƒFIRE! Two months after her incredible recovery, the womanÍs neighborÍs house catches on fire. The woman is drawn to the house by something she cannot explain and in the end, saves the neighboring family and conquers her fear. She now urges others to overcome their own fears and to listen to the ñburning from withinî. TaraÍs Angels A young girlÍs every free moment is consumed with angels. Tara believes she has been chosen to do great things after her life on Earth is over. Tragically, her young life is cut short when she is killed in a car accident. Soon after TaraÍs death, her grieving parents begin finding messages from Tara reassuring them she has gone on to a better placeƒa place of angels. Since her death, TaraÍs parents have opened a store called ñTaraÍs Angelsî as a way to help others and as a way to always remember their daughter, ñThe Angel Girlî. Healed by Kindness In the early 90Ís, in a small Midwestern town, Ku Klux Klan activity enters the lives of a Cantor and his wife when Larry Trapp, a KKK Grand Dragon, aims his campaign of hate against them. The Cantor decides to make a friend of his enemy in a miraculous story of transformative love. Ultimately, Larry would renounce his Klan affiliation, move into the CantorÍs home, and convert to Judaism before dying from diabetes. Dannion Brinkley A Vietnam veteran is struck by lightning while talking on the phone. He is legally dead for the next 28 minutes. While he is dead, he envisions his entire life, especially of his time spent in Vietnam and the lives he took. Not only did he see all of this, but he was able to feel all of the pain and humiliation that his victims went through. After coming back to life, Dannion was paralyzed for six days. It took him over two years to learn how to walk again. After his death experience he received the ability to predict the future and communicate with the dead. He was given and perspective on life and devotes his time to helping others.

    106: Prayers for Theresa; Cop in a Wash; Valley Hills Vision; Jet Ski Rescue; Heaven's Window

    Prayers for Theresa Two-year-old Theresa Johnson and her family were in the process of moving into a new home. While her dad was busy in the basement working on a plumbing problem and her mom was unpacking boxes just inside the front door, Theresa was abducted and spirited away by a disturbed teenage boy. When she fought with him as he tried to molest her, the teenager beat her, and drowned her in a nearby creek by weighting her down with a cement block. Although an intense search was quickly organized, by the time Theresa was found she had been underwater for more than thirty minutes and was clinically dead. Just as the community had mobilized to look for the little girl, the community quickly mobilized to pray for her. Even though medically, resuscitation efforts appeared futile, Theresa came back to life. The prayers for TheresaÍs recovery continued. Even though brain damage seemed unavoidable, Theresa made a complete recovery. Today she is miraculously a normal teenager about to begin high school. Cop in a Wash Los Angeles is laced with an intricate system of ñCement Riversî that protects the city from flooding. Urban youngsters often leap fences and use the seemingly placid landscape as their own private playground. But when heavy rains come, these concrete canyons are suddenly transformed into raging rivers. An LAPD veteran puts his life on the line to rescue a child swept away by the rushing torrents... caught on tape. Valley Hills Vision A group of teenage girls and their teacher have an experience of a lifetime when they visit Our Lady of Valley Hill in Kentucky. One of the girls notices the sun dancing around with odd rings encircling it and points it out to her classmates. When they look back at each other, they are all covered with spots of gold. A photo taken at that moment of the field trip captures what appears to be a gateway to Heaven. Jet Ski Rescue A tourist visiting the beautiful coast of the North Shore of Oahu is swept away when he ventures too close to great waves. He becomes trapped in an underwater cave, the waves beating up against its rocky walls. Lifeguards rush to the scene and using their Jet Skis, perform a miraculous rescueƒwhich is all captured on home video. HeavenÍs Window A mother and her two children were driving when suddenly they were struck head on by a group of drunken men. The mother and the baby boy died, leaving the daughter Ashley, alive and alone. Her leg was crushed and severe brain damage left her in a coma. Fifteen days later, on Easter Sunday, she awoke with the miraculous ability to speak, eat and drink. She even recognized her grandparents. While talking to her grandparents, she had a sudden vision of her mother and baby brother. In this vision, she was able to speak with them and say good-bye. Her recovery was speedy and nothing short of miraculous.
