Izzy's Koala World

IZZY'S KOALA WORLD follows the real life of 11-year-old Izzy Bee, who helps her wildlife veterinarian mom rehabilitate koalas. Izzy lives with her parents on Magnetic Island, an Australian island that's home to many wild koalas. When injured or abandoned koalas are found on the island, it's up to Izzy and her mom to nurse them back to health. Each episode shows Izzy taking care of the koalas by finding them eucalyptus leaves to eat, doing check-ups with her mom, and, of course, giving them lots of cuddles. Along the way, Izzy teaches viewers koala facts, like how they sleep for 18-20 hours a day and only eat eucalyptus leaves. Izzy's goal is to release the koalas back into the wild when they're ready, and several episodes show this bittersweet moment when Izzy says goodbye to her koala friends.
