The angel went to Mary and said, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and called the Son of the Most High. God will give him the throne of David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end." (Luke 1:28-33)
Jesus came down from the mountainside. A leper came and knelt before him and said, Lord, if you are willing, you can cleanse me. Jesus touched the man. I am willing he said. Be clean! Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. Then Jesus said to him, see that you don't tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them. (Matthew 8:1-4)
As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me. Jesus said, Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace. (Luke 8:43-48)
Jairus, a synagogue leader, came to ask Jesus to save his dying daughter. Someone came, your daughter is dead. Jesus arrived at Jairus's house but did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James, and the girl's parents. She is not dead but asleep. Jesus held the girl's hand and said, My child, get up! Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. (Luke 8:41,42,49-55)
Jesus was teaching. Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, he said, your sins are forgiven. (Luke 5:17-24)
Jesus saw a man blind Born Blind. Jesus said, While I am in the world, I am the light of the world. Jesus spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. Go, he told him, wash in the Pool of Siloamb. The man went and washed and came home seeing. (John 9:1-7)
