Miju discovers that the island paradise isn't all she dreamed it would be, but during a sightseeing excursion with Kang-jae, she realizes even the cold-hearted gangster can have a good time. Sae-yeon has words with his rival, and following an altercation with a powerful Chinese organization boss, Kang-jae realizes someone in his own circle is hiding something

Tensions mount as Miju's island vacation ends, leaving both her and Kang-jae on relatively hostile terms. While the organization prepares for an important shareholder's vote to secure the control of the construction company, Kang-jae attempts to keep his promise while Miju is told news that casts him into an even-more negative light

As Kang-jae tracks the island swindler, he grows closer to realizing the identity of his previous attacker as well. Chairman Kang Choong Sik is made aware of a betrayal by someone close to him, while a medical emergency has Kang-jae yet again relying on Dr. Yoon's expertise
