When William Twining breaks into his bankrupt family's vaults seeking funds for his tuition, he discovers that he's supposed to choose the interim ruler of Hell!

After learning his family is bankrupt, William breaks into his family's secret treasury cutting himself in the process. His blood drips onto a drawing on the ground which results in him becoming the Elector of the interim ruler of Hell!

Dantalion reveals that he was the one who paid for William's tuition and will not leave until William elects him the interim ruler of Hell! Later, Sytry approaches William and proposes that his uncle could be his "patron" after William meets him.

William is surprised to learn about his butler Kevin becoming the new priest at Stradford, but is taken aback even more when Kevin tells him to stay away from him. He doesn't have much time to think about it though when Camio makes his appearance.

Dantalion dislikes the fact that William seems to favor Camio and gets into an argument with him. Afterwards, William, Isaac and Sytry go to investigate the old mill. Meanwhile, Dantalion is warned about a powerful person close to William.
EPISODE 6
The One Who Schemes
On his parents' behest, Mycroft requests that William comes to his manor to meet his family. Sensing Beelzebub at work, Dantalion and Sytry tags along to protect William. William dozes off at the party and awakens amidst Eligos' plan.
