It's finally deer season in Kansas, but before the McMillans open their doors for business, Tom agreed to set aside a week to guide his wife and his niece on early season bow hunts of their own. The pressure is on for Tom & the girls to bag out before the first big group of paying clients roll into camp, but will they get it done in time? It's the first week of Rifle Season, and the McMillans have two clients in camp--Tom's longest returning client Freddy and a first-time client named Joe. Tom will try to help Freddy continue his run of success at the M.O. with another big whitetail trophy while also trying to help Joe overcome something that has plagued the best of hunters at one time or another' a bad case of buck fever.

One of Tom's secrets to being a great guide is to take one week each year to become his own customer. He believes a successful Outfitter and Guide is one that is successful on filling his own tag. Tom will re-live some of his past deer hunts and try to add another trophy to the wall. But as usual, life gets in the way.
