Initially coming from a poor family background, Kim Yeong Ran (Jeon Yeo Been) overcame tremendous struggles to become the bodyguard for the wealthy owner of Gasung Group, Ga Sung Ho (Moon Sung Keun). Sung Ho, who's terminally ill, presents her with an unconventional offer: he'll enter into a contract marriage with her, making her the heir to his fortune. However, Yeong Ran is soon forced into hiding for three months to avoid others who want to steal her boss' money, adopting the name "Bu Se Mi" and settling in as a warm-hearted kindergarten teacher in a village. Most of the other residents view her fondly, but strawberry farmer Jeon Dong Min (Jin Young), a single father with a child in "Se Mi's" class, finds her suspicious. Can Yeong Ran successfully outrun her enemies – and convince Dong Min that he has nothing to fear from her?
