Out of spite, Dr.Craig demands that the Hospital Committee charge Jonathan with misconduct as he broke the hospital’s constitution. War has come and many men enlist out of honor. Jonathan reports to the military base to learn that he is unable to serve. Meanwhile, Rachel and Jonathan become more intimate. Jonathan receives devastating news about his brother.
