In order to make it through a quarter-life crisis, 24-year-old Helene, affectionately known as "Hell," must first figure out who she is and what she wants -- and how she can get out of her own way.

As she settles into her new role at a call center, Helene hides the truth about her job from her father -- a lie that comes back to haunt her, as do childhood memories of his relationship with her mother.

While gleaning life advice from one of Maike's videos, Helene takes a leap of faith and signs up for cello lessons, where she finds a spark in more than just her newfound interest in music.

When an off-the-cuff lie manages to catch up to her, Helene must appeal to Oskar with a very strange request. Years earlier, eleven-year-old Helene instigates a confrontation between her parents that has an unintended ripple effect.

Newly jobless but rapidly falling for Oskar, Helene finds herself in need of cash to book a spur of the moment romantic vacation with him.

Helene's mother and Dr. Spellart get married. Helene is supposed to give a presentation at the start-up, but she is not well prepared.
