PGA TOUR Rewind

In the inaugural PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup, it seemed only fitting that the world's top-ranked golfer would claim the TOUR's biggest prize, as Tiger Woods rolled through the Playoffs with two tournament wins and a second-place finish, earning the $10 million bonus with a record-setting performance at THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola.

Vijay Singh took control of the 2008 FedEx Cup Playoffs with wins in the first two events, a sudden-death playoff at The Barclays and a 5-stroke victory at the Deutsche Bank Championship. Camilo Villegas won the BMW Championship and the TOUR Championship

With a win at the BMW Championship and two runner-up finishes in the four event FedExCup Playoffs, Tiger Woods captured his second title in the three-year history of the FedExCup Playoffs.

The 2010 FedExCup Playoffs saw the most dramatic finish in the four-year history. Jim Furyk got up-and-down out of a greenside bunker on the par-3 18th to win THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola and the FedExCup. THE TOUR Championship victory was the third of the season for Furyk.

The 2011 PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup came to a thrilling conclusion with the first-ever sudden death playoff for the FedExCup. With a trio of pars, including a brilliant save out of a greenside water hazard on the second playoff hole, Bill Haas defeated Hunter Mahan to win the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola and the FedExCup.

Brandt Snedeker won the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola to become the first player inside the FedExCup top 5 to claim the cup since Tiger Woods in 2009. The Tennessee native, who was born and raised less than 250 miles northwest of Atlanta, earned two other top-10 finishes in the Playoffs to put him in position to control his own destiny in the FedExCup Playoffs finale.
