Passionate but untalented radio scriptwriter Song Geu Rim (Kim So Hyun) is about to get fired from her job, unless she’s able to cast the notoriously difficult actor Ji Soo Ho (Yoon Du Jun) as the DJ for her new show. Soo Ho, despite his perfect public image, secretly struggles with depression and insomnia, finding solace only in his carefully constructed private life. Initially, Soo Ho consistently rebuffs Geu Rim, in part because he’s unable to perform without a script in front of him, but Geu Rim eventually wears him down. As they begin working together, the raw, unfiltered nature of radio broadcasting forces them to confront their vulnerabilities and connect on a deeper level that might just lead to love.

Geu Rim is a sub-writer for a radio show hosted by a party animal DJ who rarely shows up on time. One day, while taking care of the troublemaker DJ, she runs into Soo Ho, the nation's most beloved actor. Meanwhile, a legendary producer, back from his vacation in India, starts to gather people for his new radio show.

Soo Ho firmly refuses to be part of a radio show. Determined to show the arrogant actor how great radio shows are, Geu Rim comes up with a plan to persuade him.

Episode 3

For some reason, Soo Ho decides to be on Geu Rim's radio show. However, it's too soon for Geu Rim to celebrate as Soo Ho lays down a number of conditions. When the contract gets signed, Gang finally gets to work.

Episode 4

With the first recording of Soo Ho's radio show coming up, the team goes on an overnight trip to brainstorm ideas and build teamwork. However, Geu Rim finds out that she lost her laptop with the script she was working on. To her surprise, Soo Ho tags along when she goes back to look for it.

After the first recording, Gang and Soo Ho get into an argument. The two end up having drinks all night at Soo Ho's place. The next day, Ji Soo Ho's Radio Romance gets aired for the first time. Soo Ho goes into the radio booth thinking he's recording another episode. However, an unexpected situation breaks out and causes a big mess.

Episode 6

Gang takes Geu Rim and Soo Ho with him to see Sung Woo. He wants to use Sung Woo's booth for Radio Romance, and Sung Woo will only lend it to them under one condition. Geu Rim goes to Dongchon Elementary to cover a story. However, on her way back to Seoul, she gets stuck in traffic.
