When Sam wakes up in bed with Alex, both go to absurd lengths to prevent any misunderstandings.

Sam is desperate to end her relationship with Colin, but his kind disposition makes it difficult. Phil and Alex come up with a plan to make Colin break up with Sam first.

Sam discovers a hole-in-the-wall restaurant with the most incredible food, but the owner quickly grows to dislike her. Meanwhile, Alex learns that the rich girl he's dating is only going out with him to irritate her parents.

Alex, Sam and Phil become obsessed with writing a winning slogan for a cereal brand.

When Phil discovers he has a low sperm count, his whole sense of masculinity is compromised. Meanwhile, Alex thinks his high sperm count will aid his romantic efforts and Sam becomes smitten by a handsome Italian.
