Quiet underachiever Go Nam Soon (Lee Jong Suk) just wants to graduate from high school without trouble. But the arrival of transfer student Park Heung Soo (Kim Woo Bin) rips open old wounds as the two are thrust back into a complicated friendship fraught with unspoken grievances. Meanwhile, their teachers, the passionate Jung In Jae (Jang Na Ra) and the pragmatic Kang Se Chan (Choi Daniel), grapple with the harsh realities of the Korean education system and the ever-present threat of student violence, especially at Seungri High, where student morale is low and bullying runs rampant. Can these teachers find a way to reach their students – and can Nam Soon and Heung Soo find a way to reconcile?
