Renowned shark expert Dr. Riley Elliott and his team of instructors are determined to find the next master of apex predators; during a six-week course, the skills of eight rookies will be tested, proving what it takes to become apart of the team.

During week three, it's time for the recruits to prove that they can work hands-on with one of the most aggressive sharks in the world, the bull shark; Riley calls out Ryan, whose confidence doesn't quite match his performance.

The recruits are thrown into a shipwrecked survival situation.

Week Five: It’s hammerhead time as the recruits come face-to-face with one of the rarest and largest sharks. Meanwhile, Riley puts the team’s trust in him to the test. Juliana steps things up, while Randy shows what he’s made of.

Week Six: In their final challenge, the recruits take on tiger sharks to found out if they have the courage and skill for a coveted spot on Riley’s team. Riley is faced with the tough decision of picking the best recruit.
