Single dads Mike and Jake invite women to move in with them and their kids.

When a sitter falls through Mike brings Mikey on his first date with Valene. Jake and Ami struggle to connect causing Jake to do something drastic. And single-dad Jason invites Sarah to live with him and his 2 daughters.

A furious Ami wonders if Jake's coming back after he stays out all night. Mike and Valene prep for Mikey's birthday party but someone's being a party pooper. Denise shares a personal secret with John. Paul tells Kallie how many kids he has.

Valene meets Mikey's Mom at his birthday party and tensions flare. Kallie considers backing out of going to Mississippi to meet Paul and his kids. Denise finally meets John & Elijah & one of them has a meltdown.

Jake & Ami share a romantic evening. Denise babysits rambunctious Elijah. Kallie confronts Paul over whether he's brought her to Mississippi for the right reasons. Valene grows frustrated when it becomes clear she's not the top priority in Mike's life.
