Two wimpy London Goths go flat-hunting and can't believe their luck when they meet a charismatic landlord who appears to be an awesome über-goth.

Tarot card reader Fleur encounters the equally attractive, successful Nick, who is out with his mates on his stag night and stumbles into Fleur's booth to have his cards read. The Death card comes up, meaning death to one life, and the beginning of another. Nick is rather freaked. He returns home to find his future crumbling before his eyes. As his life falls apart he latches on to Fleur.
