Ranganayagi daydreams of joining politics by using Meenakshi's marriage to Dheeraj. Later, Muthupandi apologises to Dheeraj for humiliating him.

Muthupandi sacrifices his shop for Meenakshi's wedding. Meanwhile, Bhairavi sets the date and gives Ranganayagi money to handle the expenses.

Hasini convinces Muthupandi to apply Mehendi on her hands with Jilebi's help. Later, Muthupandi learns that Hasini intervened and stopped the shop sale.

Muthupandi hosts a feast for Ajay to thank him for helping him secure a loan. Meanwhile, Dheeraj is upset over Bhairavi's plan for his marriage.

Ranganayagi misinterprets Muthupandi helping Hasini with her dress hook. Later, Hasini gifts Meenakshi in the dressing room, but Meenakshi angrily throws it on the ground.

Bhairavi's henchwomen accompany Meenakshi to help with her saree. Later, Dharini informs everyone that Meenakshi is missing, prompting a frantic search for her.
