Detective Ed Bundy tracks an alleged murderess, Amy, to a small Alaska village. On the trail saves Reno's life. To repay his obligation to Bundy, Reno agrees to keep the girl from running away until Bundy makes arrangements to return her to Chicago.

When a prospector records a gold strike in Rocky's name, fortune hunter Talbot does away with the miner and goes to Yukon City where he tries to win her hand. Silky unmasks Talbot after discovering his real intent and that he is already married.

Reno teams up with The Webers to locate and work a lost mine. To aid them, they cut in Yeager and Nizzeri as equal partners. When it is time to split up the gold a life and death showdown occurs with the spoils belonging to the victor...if any!

Nifty unloads a seal-raising business on Silky, Reno and Rocky that puts them in a dicey financial spot. Silky borrows money from some miners, promising a big return but fails to pay the money back when due, and there's more than seal hides at stake.
