In the summer of 2010, 19-year-old Iwona Wieczorek disappeared on her way home from a party. She had just graduated from high school and was ready to spend the summer in Spain. The last footsteps of Iwona end just a few minutes from her home. Since then, the case has puzzled and intrigued the whole of Poland, wondering if it was a kidnapping, an escape or maybe a murder. Over the years, various clues have emerged. The documentary examines the pieces in a completely new light. From the policeman who claims the perpetrator can be identified, to the online community and journalists who have formed their own theories, to the mother of Iwona, who is destined to find her daughter.
