The Innocent Man

Kang Ma Ru (Song Joong Ki), a brilliant and promising medical student, sacrifices his future by taking the fall for his ambitious girlfriend, Han Jae Hee (Park Si Yeon), who commits murder. Years later, upon his release from prison, he discovers Jae Hee has betrayed him in his absence, marrying a wealthy CEO and living a life of luxury. Driven by a burning desire for revenge, Ma Ru meticulously plans his retribution. He approaches Seo Eun Gi (Moon Chae Won), the cold and calculating heiress to Jae Hee's husband's conglomerate, intending to use her to dismantle Jae Hee's life. However, as Ma Ru delves deeper into his vengeful scheme, he finds himself unexpectedly drawn to Eun Gi, complicating his carefully constructed plan and forcing him to confront the true cost of his pursuit of vengeance.
