The country of Kazakhstan is the ninth largest in the world, yet Westerners know almost nothing about it. The skate crew arrives in Astana, a young city with an obsession for modern architecture which is packed with unreal skate spots.

A quick sightseeing trip to the Ustyurt Plateau turns into a bit of an adventure when the hired cars get stuck in the desert mud. After waiting around for hours, the boys are itching to get back to Aktau to skate the city's numerous marble monuments.

The final leg of the tour takes the group to Almaty, which is a 75-hour train ride away. The time on board gives the skate crew a chance to immerse themselves in local culture, but by the end, skating in Almaty can't come fast enough.
