The Long Call

A body is found on a beach in North Devon, and DI Matthew Venn and his team search for a way into a case with no witnesses, forensics, or motives. Venn must also deals with the recent death of his father and the complications of returning to a community he was forced to leave.

When Matthew and the team continue to hunt for clues about the victim, they uncover secrets from the past and theorize who might have motive to murder.

Despite key break-throughs, the team are frustrated until an important piece of evidence sets Matthew on the path to finding the murderer. Will Matthew find clarity by learning to let go of the shame his upbringing taught him?
