Murder Inc. Records rises to the top of the music industry through Irv Gotti's hit-making abilities, striking gold with hit records for Ja Rule; the label begins turning Ashanti into a superstar.

The FBI comes for Murder Inc and Irv Gotti's notorious friend Kenneth Supreme McGriff, making prison inevitable; while artists depart, Irv tries to recover with a new artist and name.
