The Starry Night, The Starry Sea

Shen Luo (Bea Hayden) returns to her childhood island home after experiencing work challenges, discovering her grandfather has cancer. While reconnecting with old friends Jiang Yi Sheng (Huang Ming) and Zhou Bu Wen (Sui Yong Liang), she becomes unexpectedly entangled with Wu Ju Lan (Feng Shao Feng), a mermaid prince seeking a magical pearl stolen by her ancestors 150 years ago. Ju Lan believes her grandfather possesses the pearl, which is crucial for prolonging his life. As their paths cross, their encounter promises to transform both of their lives in unforeseen ways. This is a 2017 Chinese fantasy romance series directed by Wei Han Tao, adapted from Tong Hua's novel.
