Theory of Awesome

Sophie and Trace watch a video of skateboarders working up enough speed to complete a full loop, then look at what makes it possible for a skateboarder to successfully get all the way around a vertical loop.

Looking at the blob, a giant air bag on the water that launches a person in the air; the teeterboard, where acrobats land on opposite ends of a seesaw and launch the other; the Russian swing, where acrobats rock back and forth and fling someone.

Sophie and Trace create a simple experiment demonstrating the principles of jet propulsion then try to make a miniature hydrojet support greater and greater weight.
