Paulo meets the love of his life. Maria Alice drops everything to experience this romance. Suddenly, the passion becomes routine, and a misunderstanding causes the relationship to end, so Maria Alice decides to leave for Europe.

Paulo meets Adriana and her parents. He tries to avoid getting involved. Cândido falls ill and Paulo is there to support Elisa.

Episode 3
Paulo has an affair with his father-in-law's mistress. Candido recovers and Elisa decides to stay with him. Paulo finds out that Maria Alice is with Leopoldo and is devastated. Having to leave his apartment, Paulo goes to Laura's place.

Paulo and Laura start to date, but she becomes jealous of his love for Maria Alice and ends the relationship. Glorinha decides not to get back together with Cabral.

Paulo reunites with Martinha, and they go out. Cabral makes videos for the Internet and becomes a digital influencer. Laura feels sick and learns she's pregnant. Paulo celebrates!

Dionara announces she's getting married. Paulo then tells his mother about Laura's pregnancy. Upon meeting Evaristo, his mother's future husband, Paulo feels a little jealous.
