Veil of Shadows

Lu Wu Yi (Ju Jing Yi), the youngest nine-tailed fox spirit from the Wu Xiang Yue sect, embarks on a mission to hunt down the fugitive fox demon Xiao Wei. However, when she infiltrates the Wei manor, she discovers that she isn't the only one looking for Xiao Wei – she runs into her cunning older sister Wu Wang Yan (Chen Du Ling), vengeful demon Wu Shi Guang (Joseph Zeng), and mages Ji Ling (Tian Jia Rui) and Li Jie (Yan An), all of whom have their own motives. As the group converges to seize the formidable Dragon Deity’s power, hidden agendas and shifting allegiances collide, ultimately forcing them to choose between duty, love, and sacrifice in the name of peace. This drama was adapted from the short story "The Painted Skin" by Pu Song Ling.
