Brad is really excited he will be receiving his tent making badge…as soon as he can figure out how to make his tent stay up. With a little help from Berby, we revisit Marie Curie who taught us that perseverance means to stick with something and not give up, even when it’s hard. Marie inspires Brad to stick with it, and with a little perseverance he can build badge-worthy tent!

Ready? Set? Go! Xavier and Berby go on a race around the museum. After Xavier takes a shortcut to win, we revisit Abraham Lincoln who showed us how important it is to always be honest, that means doing the right thing and telling the truth even when it’s hard. Abraham inspires Xavier to be honest with Berby and tell the truth.

When an older kid teases Yadina about reading a comic book, Brad is scared he will make fun of him too. With a little help from Berby, we revisit Harriet Tubman who showed us that courage means bravely moving forward, even when you’re scared. Harriet shows Brad that with courage, he can support Yadina and even make a new friend.

Today is Xavier’s day to take care of Shelley, the class pet. When Yadina tells him a game of tag is about to begin though, Xavier is faced with a tough decision: take care of Shelley, or go outside and play with his friends? With a little help from Berby, we revisit George Washington Carver who showed us that it’s our responsibility to take care of the earth.

Yadina is very disappointed when she and Dr. Zoom do not make it into the school talent show. When Xavier and Brad cheer her up and put on their own show, Yadina tries to find the word to express how good they have made her feel. With a little help from Berby, we revisit Abigail Adams who showed us that even in really hard situations, you can do a lot with what you’ve got.
