S1, E1: In this first episode, Karsu takes us to Istanbul. This beautiful Turkish metropolis, with a population of about 16 million people, has both a European and an Asian part. Here she meets her good friend, and former culinary reviewer for "Turkish Vogue," Cemre. She has already written several cookbooks and regularly hosts international seminars about Turkish cuisine. Together, they leave all the typical tourist spots behind and visit Cemre's top five favorite places to eat and drink. Some of these little places are often known only to locals and connoisseurs. A week after their visit, two of these restaurants were added to the "Michelin Guide."
