Restoring Hope provides a rare opportunity to witness the restorative justice process unfolding as it happens, a process that is not only making forgiveness possible, it’s offering victims a voice while helping offenders understand the human cost of their crimes. Riding shotgun with restorative justice facilitator Mike Hinton, we enter the lives of the victims, offenders and their respective families as Mike attempts to secure their involvement in this voluntary process and we go inside the extraordinary conferences in which the parties come face to face.
