Dougie Baldwin

Dougie Baldwin

Long known to fans in his native Australia for his roles on the series "Nowhere Boys" (ABC Me, 2013-15) and "Upper Middle Bogan" (ABC, 2013-16), American audiences first became acquainted with Dougie Baldwin as Pete on the Netflix series "Disjointed" (Netflix, 2017-). Born in Melbourne, the young Baldwin gravitated towards youth theater almost immediately. When a critical drama teacher gave a lukewarm response to one of his performances, he became determined to become a truly skilled actor, and one day put that skill to work professionally. The chance eventually came around 2012 when Baldwin created an audition tape and his sister, working actor Nathalie Antonia, convinced an agent she knew to give it a chance. Baldwin soon signed with the agent and landed the opportunities to audition for "Nowhere Boys" and "Upper Middle Bogan," winning both roles. He would continue with each show to its conclusion and by 2016, both had finished their respective runs. Though he reprised his role as Felix on "Nowhere Boys" for the TV movie "Nowhere Boys: The Book of Shadows" (ABC Me, 2016), Baldwin was soon onto his next project, crossing the ocean to join the cast of "Disjointed," a comedy series about a Los Angeles based marijuana dispensary.
