Murray Head

Murray Head was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Head's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "The Family Way" (1966), the dramatic adaptation "Romeo & Juliet" (1968) with Laurence Olivier and the Annie Girardot comedy "La Mandarine" (1971). He also appeared in the Glenda Jackson drama "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" (1971) and "Madame Claude" (1977). Head also contributed music to the drama "Cocktail Molotov" (1980) with Elise Caron. In the eighties, Head's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Pour 100 Briques, T'as plus rien maintenant" (1982), the Mario David comedy "The Flying Devils" (1985) and the Pierre Richard comedy adaptation "A Gauche en sortant de l'ascenseur" (1988). In his more recent career, he continued to act in the Judith Godrèche dramatic adaptation "Stormy Summer" (1990), "Beaumarchais: The Scoundrel" (1997) and the comedy "No pasaran" (2009) with Bernard Blancan. Head also contributed music to "Patrick Dewaere" (1992). Most recently, Head acted in "Horsehead" (2015) with Lilly-Fleur Pointeaux.
