Ex-police officer Nitin is given the task of spying on the rest of the team. Nitin has no friends, and is therefore the perfect candidate for dobbing in the others.

Rose makes a surprising discovery when she investigates a teacher-pupil relationship. The team becomes suspiciously punctual, and Nitin is given the task of cleaning the kitchen.

Al is concerned about the homophobic abuse aimed at some gay parents. Nitin cannot stop throwing up everywhere, and Rose is upset about a fallout from a teacher-pupil relationship.

Rose comes up with an unusual plan to look after her mother, who is diagnosed with dementia. She finds a clever way of getting her assessed by the Elderly Care group upstairs.

Nat decides to fix Nitin up with a date, so he is getting a haircut in preparation. PC Harris decides that it is time for an emergency strategy meeting in the department.

Denise cracks down on outstanding cases, as judgement day arrives for the team. As a result, Al decides to house a group of Syrian refugee children.
