Deadman Wonderland

A school outing to Deadman Wonderland, prison-cum-amusement park, quickly turns into a nightmare for Ganta Igarashi. A mysterious man murders his entire class, leaving Ganta the sole survivor.

Ganta and his new friend, Shiro, race against the clock to complete an obstacle course and claim the antidote to a poison, which could prove fatal.

Yoh gives Ganta a lolly to help him survive and he, Ganta and Shiro venture into the secluded G Block, in search of the truth.

Convinced he is the Red Man, Ganta attacks another inmate. Despite coming off the worse for it, Ganta learns more about his special power.

Ganta learns to be cautious with his powers and Yoh discovers that there may be more to Shiro than meets the eye.

Ganta meets Minatsuki Takami, who is in prison for killing her abusive father. He offers to help her escape, only to discover that she will be his next opponent.
