After negotiating passage into the demilitarised zone of Manhattan, the clock begins on Alma Ortega's 24-hour search for her missing son, Christian; Parco Delgado and Wilson Lin each seek support from the major gangs in their race for governor.

As Parco and Wilson shore up last-minute support before their first debate at City Hall, Alma makes a desperate appeal to the holder of the DMZ's ultimate power source.

Alma makes it clear who she is fighting for; Wilson's thief is revealed; Odi's kindness is returned; Skel finds himself torn between Tenny and Parco; war breaks out in the DMZ.
