Double The Money

Sue Perkins makes pairs compete to double their money using their entrepreneurial skills to win £20k. From booty workouts to cocktail classes, the teams try to double their £250.

In round two, the remaining teams have three days to turn £500 into £1000. As the clock starts, a lemonade battle brews between two teams. One duo charge £60 a head for a supper club event, while another opt for a rowdy bingo night.

As the challenge gets tougher, the twins host an event for local ladies in Leeds; married couple Nissy and Ben offer a webinar on how to have a happy marriage; on Bournemouth beach, a father and son decide to run a hook-a-duck game.

The remaining teams have two weeks to double their £2000 stake. One team decide to flip cars, another team's family fun day might be a washout and one duo end up blocked from social media while hosting a make-up masterclass.

In the semifinal, the teams must turn £4000 into £8000 in just three weeks. One team host party bus tours, another pair trade in liquidated stock and other teams put on food, drinks and music festivals and wellness social networks.

In the grand final, the finalists have four weeks to turn £10k into £20k. One team launch a used car business, another launch a pizza van business and other teams opt to sell lunchtime bowls and launch an entire coffee brand.
