The deepest hole humankind ever dug only got 1/1000th of the way through the earth. But what would happen if you kept digging? You'd have to get through magma and the solid iron core which is hotter than the sun's surface!

The moon may look a bit like a piece of cheese but if it was then it actually wouldn't stay cheese for long. The cheese would separate with water and gases boiling up to the surface to create oceans and an atmosphere.

If you shrank yourself you wouldn't just get smaller - at the size of a mouse you'd get a high pitched voice, your heart would beat incredibly fast and you'd get very hungry indeed.

The sun is very useful indeed as you would soon find out if you turned it off. Earth would not only get very dark (obviously) but it would rapidly get very very cold. So cold in fact that the sky would fall in - for real.

If a human wants to fly like a bird then they have 3 options: flap their arms 10,000 times a second, build a pair of massive wings or, fly to Titan - a moon around Saturn where gravity is low and the atmosphere is thick.
