Two designers face elimination as the teams make over neighbouring kitchens.

Each of the designers is given a budget of just $399 with which to decorate a room using bargain items.

The competitors must create designs for a wedding reception to be submitted to a soon-to-be-married couple.

The remaining four contestants must design a guest house and record a presentation of the room they have created.

The final three designers are each tasked with performing a $10,000 room makeover for a deserving family.
