Thousands of applications are reviewed and narrowed down to just 30 finalists who head to Hollywood for their chance to show their worth to the judges.

The competitors must create designs for a wedding reception to be submitted to a soon-to-be-married couple.

The remaining four contestants must design a guest house and record a presentation of the room they have created.
