In a rage after confronting intruders in their home, Sam attacks one of the robbers with a knife, killing him as he tries to make his escape.

Angela is determined to play games with Sam, using what she knows about the death of Syed as leverage. Family liaison officer Bailey starts to purser her suspicions.

Sam is falling apart, not least over what to do about Angela. Bailey makes a breakthrough, but hits a wall when she tried to escalate her findings.

Rebecca decides she and Sam must plan their escape in case the police investigation heats up anymore. Meanwhile, Bailey is on the cusp of getting the smoking gun she needs.
