Detectives reopen a cold case from 1973 and hunt for a killer in the Port Talbot area of Wales, hoping that 30 years of breakthroughs in forensic science and modern DNA analysis can solve the mystery.

Through groundbreaking familial DNA technology, the team manage to locate the killer. However, without 100 percent certainty, Paul may have to rethink his approach.

As Paul searches for higher approval to proceed with Kappen's exhumation, the team are concerned that his tunnel vision could leave them in a worse situation than they once were.
