Callaghan and de Pauli attempt to find a young girl who has gone missing and are interrogated about arrest of Mikey Sullivan. Callaghan finds himself in trouble when Frank 'Mad Dog' Gagliano arrives seeking vengeance.

Callaghan and de Pauli interview a paedophile in connection with a young boy who has disappeared. Callaghan learns that the local drug baron has put money into his brother's new bar.

De Pauli investigates a case of violence, which draws him into the past of John Sullivan. De Pauli and Callaghan investigate a stabbing at one of Sullivan's clubs.

DCs Callaghan and de Pauli's private lives are dragged into the station. Meanwhile they must investigate the murder of a prostitute. Will tells De Pauli that he has had enough of Liverpool and quit his job.

De Pauli and White have to do night surveillance which is complicated when De Pauli gets stuck in a chip shop with the people they are supposed to be watching.
