Speedy's cousin, Slowpoke Rodriquez, comes to visit and puts Speedy in danger of being caught by Sylvester. Speedy beats of Sylvester by putting Tabasco sauce in his mouth and Slowpoke hypnotizes him into being their slave for the night and has him fix them a snack.

The barnyard dog steals an ostrich egg and places it by Foggy. When Foggy wakes up, he thinks he has laid a huge egg. When the ostrich is born, Foggy introduces him to the dog, who insults him.

Widow Hen needs a babysitter for her son. Foghorn Leghorn steps in and volunteers to babysit believing there is no such thing as a bad boy. He learns that the boy is not just a bad boy, but the worst boy.

Foghorn finds himself an unexpected father when a girl-crazy rooster pretends to be Foghorn's son so he can get with the chicks.

The local Guadalajara mice need food from the local food processing plant. Sylvester won't let them have it and Speedy is called upon to solve the problem.

Speedy is trying to deliver a message to General Gracias when Sylvester chases after him. The message says: Happy Birthday and when Speedy sees this and thinks of all that he had to overcome to get the message delivered safely and he is mad at the leader who sent him. He lets Sylvester chase the leader for revenge for sending him on such a dangerous errand for such an unimportant message.

Sylvester chases Speedy so long he gets tired and tries to use electronics to trap him. Most of the electronics backfire and explode on Sylvester.

Bandit Pancho Vanilla robs the town bank and everyone in the town is upset about losing their money. Speedy hears about this and decides to steal the money back from Vanilla one coin at a time. Speedy beats Vanilla at all his tricks and is able to return all the money to the bank.
