Love is for the Strong

On Mother's Day, the community of Complexo do Alemão, in the north of Rio de Janeiro, is shaken by a police raid pursuing a young man involved in drug trafficking who recently shot and killed a police officer.

Edna reveals to Digão that she saw the video and wants to understand what happened. But Digão, still shaken, lies and says it was Sergeant Lopes who fired the shot.

With a guilty conscience, Digão tries to recover his father's trust, but his efforts are in vain; the crew is upset with the repercussions of the publication of the video denouncing police violence during Sushi's funeral.

Rodrigo demands satisfaction from Edna for talking to Lopes; after a sleepless night, Digão goes to his uncle Valdomiro and apologises for a past quarrel; Rita helps Osório recover his garden after the fire and persuades him to return to the station.

Shaken up after spending the night in jail, Rato announces he wants to leave the crew; Enrico decides to help Rita and discovers the disagreement between those responsible for the operation and the hospital where Lopes and Digão took Sushi.

Rita somehow convinces Marilúcia and Maninho to leave the community; upset by the accusation made by Marilúcia in her statement, Diógenes forces Rodrigo to take responsibility for the disappearance of her cell phone.
