Manhunt: Unabomber

Jim Fitzgerald is assigned to the FBI's Unabom task force, as a criminal profiler. He recommends some new methods for profiling, but is faced with opposition from the other agents.

Fitz must try and assess the risk of a threat made by the Unabomber, in which he threatens to blow up a jetliner. Fitz comes face to face with Ted for the first time.

Fitz receives some help from linguist Natalie Rogers, who tries to assess the Manifesto for clues. The UTF is skeptical about their findings, and Ted refutes their claims.

The Unabomber offers a manipulative ultimatum, and promises to stop bombing if his Manifesto is published publicly. Fitz tries to push for publication by SAC Ackerman.

Ted talks about his past and the decisions that led to his terrorist activities. These details are revealed in a letter to his brother, in which he tries to explain himself.
