Michela's Tuscan Kitchen

Michela explores the foodie hotspots in Tuscany, where she finds local ingredients and produce. Later, she whips up a saffron tagliatelle with a prawn and clam sauce.

Michela harnesses her experiences from travelling to prepare a bolognese with a Tuscan twist, and a classic Italian pesto made with a local pecorino.

Michela travels through the city of Livorno, known for its outstanding seafood, before heading to a Tuscan village where she prepares fresh pici with the locals.

Michela finds deep fried polenta in Livorno, and bee keeps while in Montalcino. Michela then heads to the kitchen to cook up crispy polenta with melted cheese, as well as honey and almond cake.

Michela serves pork with mango and peperoncino, demonstrates a cheats version of mushroom risotto, and then prepares a simple dessert of roasted peaches and orange syrup.

After visiting a red onion farm in Certaldo, Michela whips up a panzanella salad as well as pork medallions with onion, apple and cider.
