Moloch

When a man catches fire, dying in under a minute, an aspiring reporter sets out to investigate the mysterious combustion and crosses paths with a local psychiatrist.

Another victim burns to death in front of her child. Louise approaches Gabriel to get information from him. Despite their mutual hostility, they work together. However, when Louise learns that Gabriel's son perished in an arson fire, she doubts him.

The deaths are now signed at each scene: MOLOCH. The victims seem deliberately targeted. Gabriel witnesses a fiery killing. Louise reconnects with people from her past in search of leads.

Gabriel copes with his grief. Louise is about to give up on her investigation when Moloch summons her for a meeting.

The newspaper prints Louise's story of Moloch's claims that he is punishing the wicked; Moloch reveals his next murder; in his grief, Gabriel has a revelation.

When Louise runs from Moloch, Gabriel shelters her in a motel on the outskirts of town. The fates of Moloch, his followers, and his prey are sealed.
