25 years ago, in the city of Makawan, there was a serial killer known as “The Head Hunter.” One day, this killer broke into a vacation home and murdered an entire family. However, a young boy named Ramil survived the massacre. Because of that incident, the police were able to capture the murderer, Dr. Arachun, a highly skilled surgeon. At that time, Arachun’s wife, Jirawan, was pregnant. Ramil swore that one day he would take revenge on Arachun.

25 years later, Ramil has grown up to become a hot-headed police officer who hunts down psychopathic criminals. He meets Wich, a patrol officer. Soon, a series of brutal murders begin to occur in the city — each victim found with a piece of gold leaf left on their body. The first victim is Chuto, the head of a rescue unit, who was burned alive. Just a few days later, the second victim, Arouma, is found hanged, her body wrapped tightly in barbed wire.

The third victim is Suthee, who was stabbed and found hanging inside a bag during a psychological therapy session for prisoners. After the incident, Wich decides to join forces with Ramil to track down the killer, taking the place of his late close friend. Meanwhile, Chanya, a famous journalist investigating the Golden Foil Killer case, tries to get information from her friend Ramil. At the same time, Dr. Danai visits Jirawan and discovers that her and Arachun’s child is Dr. Karn.

Danai, who had been conducting research on people with psychopathic genes, became involved in a deadly pursuit when another murder occurred. The fourth victim, Somphon, was forced to drink beer before having his stomach slit open and his intestines removed. The fifth victim, Nida, a judge, was stabbed through the eyes. As the police investigated to track down the killer, evidence began to point toward Dr. Karn. Ramil then uncovered another shocking truth, Karn was the son of Arachun, and was also dating Chanya, Ramil’s close friend.

Ramil was devastated. During that time, the killer known as Golden Foil called and invited him to play a game on Chanya’s TV show, taking a young boy named Plawan as a hostage. The police prepared to capture the murderer, but unfortunately, the negotiation failed — resulting in the death of Rachen, Ramil’s only brother. Unable to cope with the loss, Ramil disappeared. Wich secretly brought him food and water until Ramil was able to pull himself together and return to work, determined to hunt down Dr. Karn.
