The three competing design duos are introduced and get to explore the white box apartments that they'll be designing.

The design duos meet their clients, editors of some of South Africa's top design magazines. They also get briefed on their first challenge where they have to decorate both spare rooms in the next two weeks, only one can be a bedroom.
